Can I choose which PDF pages to convert?
Yes. For PDF input, choose a From and To page range after upload. Image input is a single page. The free demo converts at most one page; Dashboard conversions use available Page Credits.
Which output formats are available?
Convert supported PDFs or images to Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), or Markdown (.md). Each dedicated converter page has the input and output format named in its title.
Which output page sizes are available?
For Word and Excel, choose Automatic (match source), A3, A4, A5, A6, B4 (JIS), B5 (JIS), Letter, Legal, Tabloid / Ledger, Statement / Half Letter, Executive, or Folio. Markdown has no page size setting.
Which page orientations are available?
For Word and Excel, choose Automatic, Portrait, or Landscape. Markdown has no page orientation setting.
Which output fonts are available?
For Word, choose Auto (Default), Mangal, Kokila, DVBW-TTSurekhEN, Kruti Dev 100, Times New Roman, Arial, Calibri, Georgia, Verdana, or Book Antiqua. Excel and Markdown do not offer an output font selector.
Can I include detected images?
Yes. Include detected images is on by default. Keep it on to attempt to place detected logos, signatures, stamps, and other figures in the output, or turn it off for text and document structure only.
Which translation languages are supported?
Choose None to keep the original language, or translate to English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Dutch, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Malayalam, Marathi, Persian, Russian, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Zulu.
Which Marathi image formats can I upload?
You can upload PNG, JPG/JPEG, and WebP images. This converter accepts supported image files only.
Does the converter create an editable Markdown file?
Yes. Each conversion creates a downloadable .md file containing editable plain text and detected Markdown structure.
Can I translate Marathi image text to English Markdown?
Yes. Leave Translate To set to None to keep the original language, or select a supported language to translate the Markdown file.
Do I need to select Marathi before converting?
No. AlgoOCR detects Marathi and mixed English text automatically. Translate To controls whether the Markdown keeps its original language or is translated to a supported language.
Will headings, lists, and tables become Markdown?
AlgoOCR uses detected document structure to represent headings, lists, and tables in Markdown where possible. Tilted photos, faint text, complex columns, and irregular tables may still need review.
Can I convert more than one Marathi image?
Yes. Upload up to three images at once, with a combined size of 20 MB. The number converted in the free demo also depends on your remaining demo pages.
Will the Markdown look exactly like the source image?
No. Markdown preserves readable text structure rather than fixed image layout. Spacing, typography, columns, and positioned elements may be represented differently.
Can I upload Marathi PDFs on this converter?
No. This converter accepts PNG, JPG/JPEG, and WebP images only. For PDF files, use the Marathi PDF to Markdown converter.
