Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AlgoOCR web platform and web dashboard (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Algoza Solutions OPC Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us") at algoocr.com. By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the AlgoOCR web dashboard at algoocr.com, which is the primary conversion tool.
• "User" or "you" refers to any individual who accesses, registers on, or uses the Service.
• "Account" refers to the email/password registration that grants access to the web dashboard and its features.
• "Demo" refers to the free conversion feature on the landing page that allows you to convert up to three lifetime pages.
• "Plan" or "Pack" refers to a prepaid page pack purchased through the Service, as described in Section 5. If you hold a legacy monthly subscription, references to these terms also apply to your existing plan.
• "Page" refers to a single page of a PDF document or a single image submitted for conversion. A multi-page PDF counts as multiple pages (e.g., a 10-page PDF uses 10 pages from your plan allowance).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts & Registration

• A valid email address is required to create an account. You must verify your email address before you can use the conversion features in the web dashboard.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password with others.
• The free demo conversion does not require an account or email address. To access the full conversion service, you must register with a valid email address and password.
• You may have only one account per email address.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect fraudulent activity, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Free Demo

• The landing page offers a free demo that allows you to convert up to three pages total over the lifetime of the device identifier. The conversion result is available for immediate download.
• One uploaded document may use any remaining lifetime demo-page allowance. Pages beyond the remaining allowance are not converted.
• Demo usage is tracked using a combination of a device identifier and IP address to prevent abuse. The device identifier is a random ID stored in your browser's local storage. This tracking is separate from your registered account.
• Attempting to circumvent demo limits (e.g., by clearing or manipulating your device identifier, using automated tools, or employing proxies to reset limits) constitutes a violation of these Terms.
• Demo uploads are subject to a file size limit of 10 MB.
• The demo is provided for evaluation purposes. It does not constitute a contractual commitment to any service level.

5. Plans & Pricing

AlgoOCR offers prepaid page packs for one-time purchase. Each pack is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect packs already purchased.
• If you hold a legacy monthly subscription, your existing terms (including renewal prices and billing cycles) remain in effect as originally agreed.

6. Billing Cycle & Pack Management

• Each pack is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
• Packs do not auto-renew. You may purchase a new pack at any time — before or after your current pack expires.
• When you purchase a new pack while you have an active pack, the page limits accumulate — the new pack's pages are added to your existing allowance, not treated as a replacement.
• Unused pages from an expired pack do not carry over.
• Downgrades are not applicable — each pack is a separate one-time purchase.

7. License & Usage Rights

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Platform for the duration of your account, subject to your plan limits.
• You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; distribute, sublicense, or resell access; use automated scripts or bots to access the Service; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to bypass licensing, security, or usage-tracking mechanisms.
• All intellectual property rights in the Service remain with Algoza Solutions OPC Private Limited.

8. Document Processing

• You retain full ownership of any documents you process through AlgoOCR.
• We do not claim any rights to your documents or their contents.
• Document images are transmitted to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud services solely for the purpose of text extraction and structuring. These services process data transiently per their respective data processing agreements and do not retain your document data.
• Uploaded documents are processed in memory by our conversion pipeline. The converted output files (Word or Excel) are stored securely in AWS S3 cloud storage and made available for re-download through your conversion history on the dashboard. Original uploaded documents are not retained after conversion completes.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any documents you submit.

9. Accuracy Disclaimer

OCR and AI-powered document structuring are inherently imperfect technologies. While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that converted documents will be 100% accurate. You should always review the output before relying on it for official, legal, or financial purposes.

10. Service Availability

• The Platform requires an active internet connection for document conversion and account management.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
• We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the Service at any time, with or without notice.
• We reserve the right to discontinue the Service with 30 days' notice. In such an event, active paid subscriptions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

11. Communications

• By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your account (verification, password reset, welcome, and subscription activation) sent via MSG91.
• Transactional emails (such as email verification and password reset) are required for Service operation and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you during the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Algoza Solutions OPC Private Limited, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing info@algozasolutions.com.
• We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, without prior notice and without liability.
• Upon termination, your right to access the Platform and any active subscription is immediately revoked. No refund is provided for termination due to Terms violation.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nanded, Maharashtra, India.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
