At Algoza Solutions OPC Private Limited ("we", "us"), we want you to be satisfied with AlgoOCR. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you may request a refund for your subscription purchase.

1. Free Evaluation
AlgoOCR provides a way to evaluate the service before purchasing:
- Free Demo — convert 1 page on the landing page. The result is available for immediate download.
The free demo provides an opportunity to evaluate the quality and accuracy of AlgoOCR before making any purchase. No credit card is required for the demo. We strongly encourage you to use this free conversion to test the service with your documents before subscribing to a paid plan.
2. Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- You request a refund within 7 days of your purchase date.
- You have consumed no more than 50% of the pages in your purchased billing cycle.
- The service fails to perform its core functions (OCR, document conversion, translation) as described on our website, and we are unable to resolve the issue; or a technical issue on our side prevents you from using the conversion features and we cannot resolve it within 48 hours.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- The refund request is made more than 7 days after the purchase date.
- You simply changed your mind or no longer need the service (the free demo exists for evaluation purposes).
- Issues caused by factors outside our control, such as your internet connection, browser compatibility, third-party software conflicts, or hardware failures.
- You violated our Terms of Service (e.g., attempted to bypass usage limits or security mechanisms).
- OCR accuracy on specific documents does not meet your expectations. OCR is an inherently imperfect technology, and results vary based on document quality, scan resolution, and text clarity. This is why we provide a free evaluation page.
4. Mid-Cycle Upgrades
If you upgrade to a higher plan during an active billing cycle, you are charged only the prorated difference. The original plan payment is not refundable separately since its value is applied toward the upgrade. If you request a refund after upgrading, the refund (if eligible) will be for the total amount paid during the current billing cycle.
5. How to Request a Refund

Please include the following in your email:
- The email address associated with your AlgoOCR account.
- The plan you purchased and approximate date of purchase.
- The reason for the refund request.
- Any relevant screenshots or error descriptions (if applicable).
6. Refund Process
- We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day.
- If the issue is technical, we may first attempt to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it within 48 hours, a refund will be issued.
- Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Upon refund, your active subscription will be cancelled.
7. Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial or pro-rated refunds for individual billing cycles. Paid plans are either fully refunded (within the 7-day window and meeting the eligibility criteria above) or not refunded at all. Since subscriptions do not auto-renew, there is no recurring billing to cancel.
8. Service Discontinuation
If we choose to discontinue the AlgoOCR service, all users with active paid subscriptions will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of their billing cycle.
9. Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter by emailing us with additional details. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Nanded, Maharashtra.
